IFN recently completed the first stage in upgrading ILA's content and process management system by implementing the system for the Central District. At a later stage, the system will be further implemented for all districts. The entire project is estimated at 1.3 million ILS.
The project at ILA includes the implementation of an organizational solution for document and workflow management. IFN's solution will replace an existing system (an earlier generation system, also from IFN) with the goal of enriching and expanding the system capabilities and enabling efficient work throughout the districts.
The combination of worldwide, leading technology – IBM FileNet P8 infrastructure, with an innovative business desktop – DriveU from IFN, ensures ILA a solution rich in functionality, for example: different displays of work queues and tasks, document tracking, advanced and smart document/file searches and more.
"ILA converted all asset and leasing files to electronic documents, which add up to approximately 60 million pages. Our content is managed by DriveU – IFN's business interface on top of IBM FileNet P8 infrastructure. The system enables the filing of new documents (incoming or created) in the correct file and manages clerical work tasks The system provides ILA management tools for monitoring and supervising the tasks taking place. The system replaces all paper based files and as such, has become a critical system for customer service and for managing clerical, day to day work." Niva Tzuk, IT Manager Israel Land Administration
